Why Do Private Classes Feel Different?
Because ultimately, many people are not simply looking for a class — they are looking for a learning experience that feels personal. Some want to speak more confidently with a Hispanic partner, some want to feel better prepared before moving to a Spanish-speaking country, and others simply want to learn without pressure while still seeing clear progress.
When your needs are personal, your learning approach should be personal too.
What You’re Really Investing In with Private Classes
- Full attention on you instead of having it divided across a class
- A learning pace that fits your life rather than forcing you to rearrange everything around the class
- Progress that is easier to notice from one session to the next
- A closer connection with your tutor, making the learning process warmer and more effective
Private Classes Are Best Suited For…
- Busy professionals who need flexibility without compromising learning quality
- Parents who want their child to learn through a more personalised and consistent approach
- Beginners who want to start from zero in a comfortable, pressure-free environment
- Fast learners who want to accelerate their progress
- Students with specific goals: travel, work, study, a Hispanic partner, or DELE preparation
Simply put: in private classes, the pace and focus of your learning are determined entirely by your needs.
Private Classes May Not Be Right for You If…
- You’re looking for the most economical learning option
- You want to study without clear goals or consistent commitment
- You prefer the lively energy of a group class
Private Spanish Class Investment
Pricing depends on your level and tutor type. However, the value of private classes goes beyond the level itself — it lies in the quality of individual attention, a more precise learning direction, and progress that is tailored to you.
Note: 1 hour = 60 minutes. The private package is valid for 2 months for a total of 10 hours. Class cancellations must be made at least 1 hour before the scheduled session; cancellations after that will be counted as a completed session.
What You Get from Private Classes
Flexible Package System
- Packages are calculated by the hour, not by the number of sessions
- The standard session is 60 minutes but can be adjusted when needed
- Allows for either steady or intensive progress
A Schedule That Fits Your Life
- Your schedule is arranged together with your tutor
- Lessons can be held in the morning, afternoon, or evening depending on your needs
- No need to wait for a new batch to open
Progress You Can Feel
- More lesson time can be dedicated to speaking if that is your main focus
- Grammar can be explored in greater depth if your foundations need strengthening
- Lessons can focus on travel, work, relationships, or DELE preparation
Private Classes Aren’t Mainly About Your Level — They’re About Real Progress
Our private classes still use the CEFR framework (A1–C1), but what matters most to us is how your actual ability develops: whether you feel more confident speaking, more comfortable listening, better able to structure sentences, and more prepared to use Spanish in situations that matter to your life. For many private students, the main question is no longer “What level am I at?” but rather, “How much more can I do now compared with before?”
Meet the Tutors Who Will Guide You

Our method: communicative yet structured. Your tutor won’t simply get you talking — they will also help you build strong foundations, correct sentence patterns, and improve your communication skills in a focused and systematic way.
Private Trial Class
Trial classes are prioritised for prospective students who have already registered and made payment, or those who have not yet paid but are approximately 80% certain they would like to continue with the programme. This policy is in place because trial sessions require dedicated tutor time, and we value genuine commitment to the learning process. If, after the trial, the student feels that the tutor is not the right fit, they may request a tutor change.
* If you have studied Spanish before and would like to check or confirm your current level, a free placement test is available. The link is provided at the end.
Level Progression & Estimated Learning Hours
In private classes, your progress does not have to follow rigid sub-levels as it does in regular classes. However, as a general guide, the learning journey still follows the international proficiency levels below. The estimated learning hours are flexible depending on each student’s pace and have been adjusted based on the experience of previous Ngobrol Yuk private students.
*Estimated learning hours are flexible and may vary from student to student depending on study frequency, learning pace, final goals, and the chosen learning focus.
