“México is where I first learned Spanish, at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México. Interacting with people from Latin America, especially “los mexicanos”, certainly added a valuable experience in addition to learning the language; there are traditions, tourism, culture, sports, arts and culinary become interesting aspects when the Spanish language began to be known and practiced directly.
Upon my return from México in 2010, Spanish led me into the world of interpreting for several companies and events such as: Big Cola, Nusa Halmahera Mineral, Jakarta Trade Expo, or involved in Seribu Talenta Service in North Sumatra, as well as personal guide for tourists from Spain or Latin America. As a translator, other achievements include translating teaching materials for Hewlett Packard Company, official documents (diplomas, marriage certificates, MoUs, agreements, etc.), advertising, exhibitions, movies, telenovelas, reality shows and books.”

¡Hola, soy Wida!

From 1997 to 2000, my father was stationed in Caracas, Venezuela. It was there that I first encountered Latin American culture and the Spanish language. I spent my junior high school years at U.E. Instituto Escuela.

In 2003, my father was stationed in Mexico again. I resumed studying Spanish at UNAM and pursued a degree in translation at ISIT in Mexico City. After returning from Mexico in 2010 (until now), Spanish has opened doors for me in the world of interpreting at major events such as the 2010 Miss Universe visit, IFEX, IFMAC, Trade Expo Indonesia (TEI), and others.

Additionally, I have experience translating Indonesian films into Spanish, documents, reality shows, and more. Since 2008 (to the present), I have also worked as a Spanish and Indonesian language tutor.
