“My first introduction to Spanish was in 1999 when I joined a student exchange program to Argentina and lived in a small town called Goya with an Argentinian family for about 10 months. At that time my knowledge of Spanish was minimal, and my Argentinian family did not speak English at all, as a result I needed to carry a dictionary everywhere to interact with family and school friends. So, at that time my vision and mission of learning Spanish was to be able to communicate with my Argentinian family and friends.

After returning from Argentina, I did not stop learning Spanish in Jakarta until 2007 when I had the opportunity to work in Spain for about 4 years. It was there that I gained a lot of work experience, one of which was being a translator and interpreter for both the Indonesian and Spanish governments.

Currently, I work as a translator and Spanish tutor at Ngobrol yuk!”
